The product is made from a durable super strong nylon glass filled plastic material that supports over 200 lbs. The nice thing about this product is its universal application. The Auto Hitch Step can be used with any 2” hitch receiver and requires no installation, other than inserting it. Since it weighs only 5.5 lbs it can be easily handled by anyone and it is easy to transport/store. Product dimensions are: 18”x16”. An extension is also available so the Step can be used with an open tailgate.
